Journey to Hope Gala (Mental Health)
The Journey to Hope Gala 2026 is the Akonoba Foundation’s annual fundraising and community engagement event dedicated to advancing mental health awareness, education, advocacy, and access to resources. This year’s theme, “From Advocacy to Action,” focuses on moving beyond conversations about mental health and creating meaningful change through community engagement, education, outreach, and support for individuals and families. The gala will bring together community leaders, mental health professionals, advocates, educators, business leaders, philanthropists, families, and supporters for an inspiring evening of connection, entertainment, and purpose.
