Measures we've taken

Throughout the site, we've built in:

• A "skip to main content" link at the very start of every page, for keyboard and screen-reader visitors who want to bypass repeated navigation.
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, so keyboard navigation is always easy to follow.
• Every control — links, buttons, form fields, menus — reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
• Full support for your operating system's "reduce motion" setting: scroll-triggered animations, the animated background on our approach section, and smooth-scrolling are all skipped in favor of static, immediately visible content when that setting is on.
• Descriptive alternative text on informative images, and decorative images marked so screen readers skip over them.
• Sufficient color contrast and a design that never relies on color alone to convey status or meaning.
• A responsive layout that works from small phones to large desktop screens.

Known limitations

We're continuing to improve accessibility across the site. At the time of writing, a small number of interface animations — such as the mobile navigation menu, the announcement bar, and the gallery's photo viewer — use short transition effects that do not yet fully respect the "reduce motion" setting the way our larger scroll animations do. These are brief opacity and scale effects rather than large-scale motion, but we intend to bring them in line with the rest of the site.

Compatibility

This site is built with modern, standards-based web technology and is tested with current versions of major browsers. It does not require any browser plugin.

If you encounter a barrier using this site, please tell us through our contact page, describing the page and, if you can, the assistive technology or browser you were using. We want to know about it and will work to address it.
